Shani Crawford is an Afro-American Licensed Masters Social Worker. With Shani obtaining her bachelors in sociology and master’s in social work, Shani has always had a passion for helping people in a host of different settings but mainly providing therapy to various populations. Since 2016, Shani has worked in a variety of settings including crisis intervention, substance abuse/addiction, education and advocacy in higher education, clinical work in legal and school settings and facilitating groups in outpatient/inpatient settings to name a few! Shani works with various populations including but not limited to adults, teenagers, individuals, and families. 

Shani’s areas of treatment include Addiction, Alcohol Use, Anger Management, Anxiety, Autism, Behavioral Issues, Codependency, Depression, Dual Diagnosis, Family Conflict, Grief, Peer Relationships, Racial Identity, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem, Self-Harming, Suicidal Ideation, Trauma and PTSD.

Utilizing a person-centered approach, Shani uses a variety of modalities including mindfulness techniques, trauma-informed care, CBT, solution-focused, narrative and more. On her off time Shani enjoys spending time with her family, reading, listening to music, and running on a good trail when she has the time!
